So sometime ago, I was bitching in another post that all the bands I really get into always implode for some reason, whilst those that SUCK stay around forever just to spite me. Well dear reader, the many prayers I have belted out have been answered. As of July 1, 2008 ultra-sexy, super-vixen Aimee Echo has confirmed the members are now in rehearsal for an upcoming reunion tour and will have a reunion show at the Key Club in Hollywood on October 10, 2008.
So the story so far is that I saw them in a small club in Killeen, Texas. They opened for Sevendust and Coal Chamber. I had been into those 2 bands for a long time, but not HWP. This little blonde thing flounces out onto the stage and says a quiet perfunctory greeting and then lunges into this super powerful belting of hard core rage. I was blown away, completely.
Imagine No Doubt if they dropped all that irritating pop-ska crap and REALLY decided to get it on…That is Human Waste Project.
So I am breaking a cardinal rule of the ZT but I was unable to find you a free track to download but you can go here, or here to check them out before you run right out and buy the CD….have you left yet?
